In the last couple of years the club has entered a new era in social respects, organising many social evenings including numerous pub-crawls, themed nights, mid-season get together, beach day, a highly successful quiz night and formal end of season presentation nights.

This year, we high hopes for what we would like to achieve as a club, including:

• 2 pub-crawls

These are popular events not only for club members, but also for friends and the general student body. Kudos to our social team for the fantastic pubcrawl shirts from the last couple of years.

Pub Crawl 1! 

• Mid-season dinner

Last year this event was a more informal event held at a member’s home- this year we would like to plan a ‘pub night’ where members can socialize and enjoy dinner together.

• Quiz night

Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, we plan to hold this event as our main fundraising evening again this year.

• Themed Evening (e.g. 70’s night, carnivalé, etc)

A fun and frivolous evening, we anticipate that the costume ideas will be as outrageous as the personalities! Celebrated with great enthusiasm in the two previous years, we aim to continue this tradition into 2008 and beyond.

• End of season dinner

Similarly to last year, we envisage this year’s end of season dinner to be a formal event, with a sit-down dinner and presentations to be made on the night.
